Hi!

I'm not supporting clone makers, just this is the only way to buy this device in my region and it was prices just like the original ones.

The problem is with new images - they don't work and present a black screen.

I already update something via RS232 to v4, but no new images boot on device. I already tried VTi 8.2.3/9.0.2, Original vuplus-image-vuduo2-20160119162410_usb and BlackHole-3.0.1-vuduo2_usb_release_20151124 with no luck.

I need an image with CI+ modules support.

If some can help me, that will be great!

Thanks.

Where did you bought it ? As it seems not really available around, never seen it on a shop for sale.

I flashed v4 for Solo2 to my Duo2 via RS232.
BH 2.11 from VU-HD.com works, but not the new ones.

Well the update was for a solo2 so you have probably bricked your duo2.

Do you still see the box updating on the front screen as normal when you try to flash a new image ?

If you do ask your supplier to give you the latest CFE file for your Duo2 flash that then try the duo2 images.

official Duo2_CFE_V2.zip is flashed in my Duo2. And it's displayed during boot process. I update to it by myself. I don't know that my Duo2 is a Clone.

Yes - every time I insert the USB flash to the front port and press Power button - if UPDATE! message is displayed - the flashing process begin and always update the image without problems.
But after reboot - title screen => black screen with message "double your expectation" on center LCD and Vu+ Duo2 screen on left LCD.

Did you flash the Official Duo2_CFE_V2 after you tried the solo2 v4 update or before.

Try flash an image from an official team like OpenATV and not a image from the VU-HD site.

Well it looks as though your stuck with older images then there is no info on duo 2 clones

What confuses me is the Duo2_CFE_V2 is for original boxes but your wont boot original images.

What about the openpli image ?

Also, I have read about Jtag programming. Can this method fix the clone to support original images?

Number 8 here you had a working image ! Whats changed ?

Jtagging just flashes the bootloader it will not allow a clone to run original images.
