![]() Does the TM 5402 M4 receive the FTA French channels multistreaming on 5 west with the correct size satellite? Do you know would it be possible to pick up those channels in Rep. Of Ireland as I can get all the standard encrypted French channels with very good signal with a 1.2 M dish in Ireland ? Thank you

![]() Hi,
The TM 5402 M4 does pick up Multistream and also T2-MI. One of my satellite dishes (1.1M) has an Inverto Ultra LNB pointing towards 5W and it doesn't pick up the Multistream most of the time as I am in West Cork and it really does depend where in Ireland you are located, If you are located in the East or Southeast you have a better chance at receiving French Multistream as I have friends in Wexford and Wicklow that are able to pick up French Multistream all day and all night without any issues. I have issues with trying to pick up these channels. 12648/V/29499 only works for me for a few hours on a clear night as does 12732/V/29500. but most of the time they don't either on my TM 5402 M4 or my Octagon receivers yet the Italian multistream channels like RAI1/2/RAI Sports and TopCalcio come through with 93% signal/79%/83% quality. Kind Regards Amelia

![]() Thanks very much for all that information. I forgot to say I am on the east coast so I'm now optimistic for my chances. Thanks again for your help.

As SatelliteDudette said the more east you are the better. I am in South East England and I get all the channels on 5West Multistream at over 90%. Obviously my location helps and that is on a 1m dish. If you can afford it and have the space, get a 1.2m dish along with the aforementioned Inverto Black Ultra lnb. Simple law with signal reception is the bigger the dish, the better the reception you are likely to get. Good luck. |
