New Octagon SF4008???

What about this new Octagon SF4008? I know it would be 4K combo receiver and would support new DVB-S2X transmission standard.
Unfortunately I found web pages only in german.... anyone just saw and tested this new box? Any information please? Thank you.

* "4;2;2 chroma sampling possible." But first, need "processor root software" support. "Root software" not support exist yet.

- Processor hardware support ; HVEC / H.265 Video decoding
* HDR ; Broadcom® BCM7251S don't support HDR video codec. Only HEVC ve VP9 support.

- Processor speed ; 12K DMIPS ( 12000 )
- Core number ; 2 x 1700Mhz Dual Core ( 2x1,7 GHz )

- ROM ; NAND Flash 4GB eMMC

- DVB-S2X Standard Support.

Correct me if I am wrong but reading the specs it only supports 16/32 apsk in dvb-s2x only...

no what I mean is that this box will miss the DVB-S2 16 and 32 APSK...

I guess they are assuming that providers will jump into DVB-S2X for 16 and 32 APSK and not use dvb-s2...

I have it.
this is my 1st linux receiver
with open atv6,0 I watch la7HD from 9 east in multi stream and all regional RAI3 from 5 west.
I have some problem with CAM+card TVSAT maybe it is problem of my CAM, so that I am looking for how to use only card reader but I did not find anything till now teaching me how to

you can watch DVB-S2X channel
it opens 4K channels

all card reader

can anybody please explain me ho to set the card reader as all card (or at least NAGRAVISION)?
I would like to use TVSAT in that slot
what I need how to install and let it work
image in use is openATV6.0

I come from ClarkeTech 3100HD where I can download a softcam.key file to open some channel
I have understood that with this receiver I should use Oscam. Is it true?
then should I use softcam.key file or something different?

You need to download oscam and config files for nagravision card or any other system card.

I have tivusat card working on it with oscam and internal reader. Works very well.

You can use sofcam or constant.cw for oscam emu.

I downladed from this fórum latest files softcam/constant.cw from Informed and works very well.
