Default Satellite INI files for DVB viewers.

Hi guys,

One question about the satellite INI files for DVB viewers.

I always download these INI files for every sat from King of Sat
every time I want to scan to see if there are new channels
available. I thought these files included the complete list
of channels, but I just saw that they only contain the list of
transponders and their details. So, I'm wondering if it is
mandatory to update these files since they seem to have the
same transponders inside with no change from the previous
INI file I got.

Just in case, I will keep updating them though.

Thanks.

You may update these .ini file(s) only then when there are transponder added or changed on specific satellite. No need to do this daily or once a week/month.

If there are a transponder change on specific satellite, it is marked on the KoS's "New frequencies / SR / FEC / Standard changes" section.
