Added 2 USB port to AZBox HD [D.I.Y.]

Hello guys,

I've a Chinese AZBox Ultra HD this receiver have only 2 port of USB.
It's not enough for me because I want 4 port for following.
Port 1 for USB wifi
Port 2 for USB HDD
Port 3 for USB Keyboard (detachable)
Port 4 for miscellaneous device such as Digital camera, Flash drive, etc. (detachable)

So I just searching the IC VT6212L datasheet and I can found the 2 vacant port.




This D.I.Y. is easy and just few adding components
Only 2 USB female sockets and some of wire.

At the IC the first 2 port already used.
So the port 3 and port 4 are available (pin 73,74 and 77,78).
Just solder the wire into above pins and add +5V and GND to USB socket.

Done!

I never try yet because the SATA IC is not available in my country.
But I think it can be if you put the IC and some component into AZBox.

I ever try with alternative way but doesn't work.

Currently I'm using E2 (PBB 3.2.2)
