2 lnbs on 2 dishes fed by same sat boosts signal?

I'm just outside astra 28º footprint. I wonder if using 2 dishes fed by the same sat will increase its signal? Is this possible, or just rubbish?

you will need a correct size dish 2 dishes wont make the signal any stronger

two dishes will not solve your problem, if you can get any signal an inline amplifier, close to the lnb might help.

hi m8,there is an issue with signal phase, that would have to be overcome.
a 10 per cent increase in dish size will almost double the signal strength.

Generally 2 dishes (with identical dishes, LNBs and cable length) will give you an increase in signal level equal to 1.5 times the signal from a single dish.
This is known as dish array.
