I always thought that the cam was just the interface between receiver and card,for receivers that don't have a card slot.
If so,the receiver would have to support HD and the cam has nothing to do with it.The card would have to work for the provider in question whether it is sd or hd.

HBO HD, HBO hits HD. CAM does matters. HD cam and SD cam are not the same. Tested and confirmed SD CAM will not work in HD channels.
In Vinasat 1? Has The card HD permisions?

I dont use the card, I use MRV 225 or NEO3.06 with key entry directly. If used with Orton box or linux box i use MGCAMND it works well but I use with mu philips TV with Matrix CAM i cant get HD channels
Which satellite? I could try in my Reborn on my Sony TV.
