I think that topic should be named "Vote for best receiver for me". Most likely that majority of users will vote for receiver they have regardless on technical differences. I vote for DM8000, have it for more than 3 years (old receiver) but I do not think that there are another receiver in the market yet which has 3 DVB-S and 1 DVB-T tuners inside, so nice software support, internal hard drive and so ergonomic universal remote control. That is simply state of the art! Yes, that was pricy, so what? We are not speaking about price, just about which one the BEST!

Is there no such benchmarking which proves xyz is the best product among all instead of letting users do vote of coures everybody gonna vote for their product anyways meself looking for this imaginary best product would love to have an expert's opinion on this.
