Merlin4 OE2.5 Dreambox DM920

Das neue Merlin (OE2.5) basiert wie immer auf dem aktuellen Experimental-Image von DMM (Dreambox OS).

Wichtig:

In den letzten Jahren waren die Experimental-Images immer sehr stabil.
Da von DMM einiges umgebaut wurde und wird, kann es durchaus noch zu Fehlfunktionen kommen.
Experimental-Images sind updatefähig. Sobald Weiterentwicklungen (DMM/Merlin) zur Verfügung stehen, können diese durch ein Update eingespielt werden.

Details zu den Funktionalitäten können wie immer unter Merlin-Image-Funktionen oder im Merlin Wiki nachgelesen werden.

Wir haben uns entschlossen, das Image weiterhin möglichst schlank zu halten. Es ist jedem selbst überlassen, wie sein persönliches Merlin aussehen soll.

Selbstverständlich sind trotzdem alle Neuerungen von Seiten DMM im Merlin durch nachträgliche Installation verfügbar (z.B. HbbTV, Browser, DLNA...).

* apt instead opkg in use
* TemplatedMultiContent in use
* Switching the screen display between default and split screen
* Jump between the individual sections (like in Kannalliste)
* Info (if available)
* Show the good with button blue

Using color keys instead of numeric keys possible

Skin options >
* New skin option to toggle between reference and name for Picons (skin must be to assist with config entry)
* Add menu entry in Merlin settings for dm7080 for black / lcd white picons

The new Merlin (OE2.5) as always is based on the current experimental image of DMM (Dreambox OS).

Important:

In recent years, the experimental images were always very stable.
DMM a lot was rebuilt and is it malfunction can occur quite yet.
Experimental images are updateable. As soon as new developments (DMM/Merlin) available, these can be played through an update.

Details about the functionalities can be found as always see Merlin image functions or in the Merlin wiki.

We have decided to keep the image still as slim. It is any leave, look like his personal Merlin to.

Of course, all new pages DMM in the Merlin through subsequent installation are available (E.g., HbbTV, browser, DLNA...).
