Vu+Uno and .avi files

I have tried to watch movies in avi format and after few seconds my mediacenter has blocked and the box cannot respond at any command. It isi possible that my hdd to be broken? Or i need to install another player? Thanks!

I doubt you have a fault mate, try another avi some that don't follow the true avi standard dont play.

If the UNO is anything like the Duo then it will be problematic playing avi/divx. I did fing with the duo openpli images coped better playing avi than other images particularly Blackhole.

I returned here to ask if Vu+Uno can see movies (specially avi)directly from my pc harddrive. After many tests seems that Vu+Uno accept to play some avi files and other not.
