Requirements:

To get E2 to Atevio 7000 required her to the following:

- A null modem cable (if PC / laptop no longer has access USB2Serial adapter works but unfortunately not all - if you saw Him gegenenfalls exchange extra worried)
f63a2b.png

- Network cable (for direct connection to PC / laptop using a crossover)
- AAF Recovery Tool 1.5 or higher
- E2 Flash Image / E2 USB Image
- Should be port 69 for the AAF recovery tool to be activated (in case of doubt (Windows) disable firewall during installation)

New Boot Loader Flashing:
1. AAF recovery tool to install
2. Box off and network and connect a null modem cable to the PC / laptop
3. AAF recovery tool to start and click on connect
4. Switch Box - the boot process should be interrupted if not see 4.1
4.1 It may happen in rare cases that the AAF recovery tool fails to interrupt the boot process. In this case, you need a terminal program such as Windows HyperTerminal or Putty
Putty / Hayperterminal set as in the image and click Apply.

Now turn right after repeatedly pressing the spacebar until the output looks like this:

That was then but already - now could end her Putty, start AAF recovery tool and click on connect.
5. Network parameters and click on "Save." (The Atevio box must be in the same network as the PC are!)
Who wants to change its MAC address should restart after changing the box so that the new address will be accepted.

6. Well above the tab "Maxi submarine Install" and click click "Install Maxi submarine rev 0.5.

- Should not fold the installation please check Check (Windows) or firewall settings (Windows-off) firewall temporarily.

7. Box shut down and switch before connecting again with the "connect"
- Now click on the tab Maxi bootdesc Defaults
- On the Set Default (click If a hard disk installed before selecting "Internal SATA)

Those who also still want to pick the default boot it from version 1.6 can now do the bottom too.
- For safety, the network parameters are all right in there we go again
on the first page of "Settings" and click "save"
8. Thus, the new boot loader would instlliert - now there are 2 ways to bring the box E2

9. E2 install the Flash
Who wants to test E2 on the stick reads on to point 10.
- Switch off the box
- Start AAF recovery tool and click on connect. (should not go to connect, see point 4.1)
- Click on the tab at the top Flash Image E2
- On "..." and click to select the image, memory E2
- Click on Flash E2 and loading - Receiver not turn

- E2 in Flash is now done and will start at the next reboot automatically.

9.1 The way back to the original image
If you the actual beta of E2 in the flash still not convinced you can, of course, any time back to the original

- Switch off the box and connects the network, and null modem cable to the PC / laptop
- AAF Recovery Tool Start, click connect and switch the receiver
(should stop the boot-time simply does not work when "E2 flash in the display is fast with the arrow keys to select on the remote control, the normal flash, resulting in a Softreboot and Recovery Tool connectet safe)
- Click on the tab "Recovery Image" and "Start"

Original 9.2 bootloader install
If anyone wants to have again the old bootloader from the factory setting, this is not a big problem

- Switch off the box and connect a null modem cable and network cable to the PC
- AAF Recovery Tool Start, click connect and switch the receiver
(should stop the boot-time simply does not work when "E2 flash in the display is fast with the arrow keys to select on the remote control, the normal flash, resulting in a Softreboot and Recovery Tool connectet safe)
- Click on the tab "Original U-boot Install" and "Install the original U-Boot 1.1.2 Click" - done!

If an error occurs Ping - the network settings can be written again in the bootloader and reboot.
