Description:

Installation
------------

For installation of the QuickTV Plugin copy it to /tmp
and do manual Install in BP, or type in telnet:

ipkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-quicktv*.ipk

If you want to remove QuickTV simply type in telnet:

ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-quicktv

Usage
-----

Quick TV is Simple plugin to watch TV without enigma2 during
booting of the Dreambox or enigma2 restarts.

It is based on the szap from the dvb-apps utilities.

Type szap -h for the command line parameters.

For testing purpose only up to 9 channels (-n 9) are supported.

Use -i for zapping with the remote control via up/down right/left
and the number keys 0...9. With Exit you can finish szap in interactive
modus.

CTRL+C in telnet will also exit szap, especially when used with -n only
for a single channel.

The default channels.conf file is at /etc and there is
a template for Astra 19.2 included.

One line of the VDR channel file has the following format:
name:frequency_MHz:polarization:sat_no:symbolrate:vpid:apid:?:service_id

DiseqC 1.0 is supported, hence you can address up to 4 SAT positions,
simply change sat_no in the channels.conf accordingly. SAT numbering starts
with 0 for no DiseqC and ends with 3 for the 4.th SAT position.

Currently you have to have a SAT Tuner at the first slot. Versions
of QuickTV for Cable and Terestrial Tuners (csap and tzap) are planned
but not yet available.

The QuickTV Plugin included can be used to set a default starting channel
ot of the 9 first channels in /etc/channels.conf while booting

Do init 4 to stop enigma2 in telnet and type szap -i to test QuickTV
interactively.

You can also enable Quick TV during enigma2 (re)start, but this is
not 100% working yet - you can exit szap to prevent problem in this case
when enigma2 fails to start with EXIT

And be aware that in this case after about
45 sec the output will hang for about 10 sec to allow
enigma2 to catch the devices - after
the hanging QuickTV will continue
already with running spinners until approximately
15 sec before enigma2 shows the TV picture on its own

Have fun using QuickTV on your 7025
