Oscam in ipk format

Two questions I have:
1. Why new oscam-s aren't in .ipk format?.
2. Can have explaination how to install tar.gz format on image(s) where there is only .ipk install possibility.

Why you need ipk format for every new release?

The ipk is needed for the instalation of oscam for the first time, then you can easyly update it, changing only the bin.

I've not been successful in updating using this method for the last two updates. The last one which worked for me was 11529.
Using Solo4K & VIX.

Wish the Oscam Emu All images Ipk & Deb keep being updated at the same time all others Oscam Emu are release. Easier to work with old models. Thanks
