Hull City have broken their transfer record after completing the signing of striker Caleb Folan from Wigan for £1m.
BBC Radio Humberside reports that the 24-year-old Folan has signed a three-year contract at the KC Stadium.
Folan spent a month on loan with the Tigers in 2001, but without making a first-team start.
Wigan paid Chesterfield £500,000 for Folan in the January transfer window, and he scored two goals in nine Premier League starts.
