Two ways to boot. (Don't get caught out).
When you hit the "POWER" switch on the front of your metal monster, Your puta chuggs happily into gear, and Windows boots to your desktop.
'Ang on a tick......What if your "POWER" switch decides to pack up. (it can happen). Have you got an alternative..??
(The retainer spring once broke in mine)
Course you have, and here it is...
This tip is dependant upon your bios version, and also if you feel comfortable messing about in there.
Start your puta, and press [DEL (to enter setup)] when prompted. This will take you to a Blue screen (BIOS).
Now look for... Power management setup. Use your arrow keys to navigate to this option, then hit the enter key.
You should have some options there like....
DISABLED (*)
ANY KEY
MOUSE
MOUSE AND KEY
By default, this option is disabled. You need to check (*) the ANY KEY option. Hit the F10 key to save this setting. Exit and let Windows re-boot to your desktop. Now switch your puta off.
Hit ANY key on your keyboard, and hey presto, You've got an alternative method to boot, (or should i say 106 alternatives), in case that there switch on your OXO tin goes dweeby.
