Following a shareholder meeting today, it was unanimously decided to suspend the Premier League with the intention of returning on April 4, after obtaining medical advice.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said:
"We want Mikel Arteta and Callum Hudson-Odoi, and all those infected by Covid-19, to recover quickly.
In this unprecedented situation, we are working closely with our clubs, the government, the FA and the EFL to reassure everyone's health and the well-being of players, staff and fans. "
