TM9100 Newbies Welcome to the section!

If you have never used/owned a Linux receiver before it can all seem a bit daunting at first, leaving you with many questions. Most, if not all your initial questions are answered in our guides section, (as they were based on our members commonly asked questions).

Here is a quick 'at a glance' list suggesting how to go about things:

Useful item to have:

-Null modem cable (as used for the TM 1000 series)

3. Install an image, the two main ones atm are 'Juliet' & 'UR'. This is a personal choice and further information can be found in 9100 discussions section. Instructions vary, and come with the images. You will also need to download the approproiate loader (TCC)
Note: you will need to reconfigure your previous settings again after installing an image.

4. Install a few Emulators, choose common ones to start eg: Mgcamd & Cccam.
