This card works great since 4 years

I'm using a MythTV system with one Linux backend server (Mythbuntu 12.04 will be upgraded to 16.04 soon) and a windows frontend in an HTPC connected to a projector.
Back in 2012 the system was equipped with a digital PCI SAT SD Tuner card (BT878 based) and a USB DVB-T TunerBox to watch/record max 4 Channels parallel in SD quality.
I decided to upgrade to SAT HD (S2) and chose this TBS6928 Tuner card because I want a card with PCI-express interface and integrated CI-interface to watch also encrypted channels.
As CAM I chose a MaxCam Twin.
With this configuration I could watch/record additional 2 HD channels in parallel (on same transponder, also encrypted possible) and it works great since today.
This system is also capable to watch the new UltraHD channels on ASTRA :thum:
