Hi

I'm choose a TS file 11106 - H - 7200 Click Start To get a good Crypt8
F1 E2 0F A4 3F 99 0D 14 But it's not working

How to solve the problem ???

No table has 100% coverage (it's something like 84% for v2). Unfortunately for that B8hx030000h C8, there is no valid CW->C8 link in the v2 table. Try with v1 tables eg B8hx030000h_table1 gives results.

I only the other day I finished preparing table B8hx030000h_V2
I didn't know there was this problem

I don't understand what you are asking.

- You scan a ts file to find crypt8s.
- You don't need any tables to find crypt8s. The tables are used to find the CW from the crypt8.
- V1 of the tool can find crypt8s of B8hx030000h type. V2 cannot.

This particular crypt8 no. campag5242 understood your question better than me and gave you the right answer.

I've told you many times already My questions are beginner's questions
I worked really hard to make B8hx030000h_V2 I didn't think there would be a problem with Crypt8 and TS file

anyway

If you want I can do a test On Tool_V2.05 You can write here Crypt8 is recognized and CW is recognized And explain what I need to do

- For B8hx030000h we can't use the v2 tool to search ts for crypt8,we have to use v1. You already have done this. You searched with v1 and found the crypt8. You searched with v2 and did not.
- We can use v2 to search for CWs. You also have done this using the example crypt8 and found the CW.
- The v2 tables are not complete. Not yours, everyone's. The project was halted before all chains were created. So with v2 you have a lower chance of finding a CW than you have with v1. You also discovered this. You found the CW using the v1 tool but crypt8 F1 E2 0F A4 3F 99 0D 14 cannot give you a CW using the v2 tool. This is what campag5242 also said.

So the strategy for B8hx030000h is:
- Use v1 to find the crypt8
- Use v2 to search for CW
- If it is not found, use v1

All is well - i Slowly studying Table B8hx030000h

What is the reason that Crypt8 in Line 3 is the right one Vs line 1 and line 2

PID: 200h B8h-Crypt8:14 7A EE 49 3B 7C 23 F5 [E] Count:7218
PID: 200h B8h-Crypt8:1A D1 EE 60 A5 25 3E B8 [E] Count:7215
PID: 200h B8h-Crypt8:F1 E2 0F A4 3F 99 0D 14 [E] Count:7198

Because is looking for repetitions, and it might find more repetitions that do not match the assumed string needed to bruteforce.
This is why there is always a list of C8 to try, meaning there are always repetitions and many are not the ones we need to use.

It is interesting to know if there is any software or tool To identify a correct line Of Crypt8 When there are several lines Before searching CW

If there were any way to know, the program would only show the correct one.
But you do not know which is the correct one before decrypting it with the correct key.
Is the egg and the chicken, which one came first.

By the way, think about the irony : if you know the valid C8 before hand, you would not need a C8 at all.(you'd know which key is valid for it before looking for a C8).

Dear kebien

I asked that question Because sometimes after recording a TS file We get Crypt8 with this line :

PID: 134h B8h-Crypt8:4E FC 82 97 B9 30 C1 7C [E] Count:25694 <= B8hx030000h
