Eutelsat 9B @ 9° East Transponder update

for everyone who can receive the Italy-Beam:

I just noticed that the Rete A2 package was switched off on 12.254 V SR 14304. Nothing is broadcast on this frequency anymore.

The package has obviously changed the frequency and now comes on the frequency 12.265 V DVB-S2 16APSK with the new SR 31400 3/4 on two streams (Stream 1 + Stream 2) ...

The Openbox SX6 can read this MIS in the BS and display it, so it is still possible to send without PLS etc.

Assumption/speculation:

possibly the "stream growth" is also the preparation for the return of the (completely encoded) Mediaset 5 package to 9°E, which has not been on the air for some time and could only be received via 5°W.

There was talk of several disconnections, switches and connections in the near future.

At the end of the year there will possibly be a final constellation of the italian packages at 9°E.

Probably the remaining Mediaset packets will then also be switched off at 5°W ...

Update:

The package to 12.265 V changed the MIS-transmission-mode and can now be received with PLS Mode Gold, PLS Code 262140.

This means that the package can no longer be received with the Openbox SX6
