Amiko 8900 ftp password

It depends the image you use.

For the HDMU pass is HDMU

For SPARK is root

Using DCC;

Amiko Alien 8900 / Spark.

Default, as follows,

Name; root
Passw; root

I am assuming you have tried to FTP using Dreambox Control Centre and all connections were showing green.

Name: root
passws: root


If the above is correct and failed to connect, try the following;

Mernu / System / Net Setting / FTP Password / User Name root should be at top / press OK / Old Password / type; root / red button to confirm.

If the above also fails, try upgrading software as follows;

Menu / Spark / Upgrade Software / Red button Upgrade


Also, try factory reset.
Menu / System / Basic settings / Factory Default / Factory Reset


If all of the above fails,try the following;

Hi guys, Im using enigma2 on Amiko Alien 8900, im trying to ftp to my box with username root and password root but it fail to connect, i tried factory reset but stil failed. Is anyone knows the right way can explain to me please.

have you tried:
usrname: alien
password: alien

also pkt team images sometimes have the password as: pkteam

It has to be one of these:

User: root
Pass: root

or

User: root
Pass: HDMU (uppercase)

or

User: alien
Pass: alien
