Hi all, it has been a long time since I was last here,
A lot has changed since I was last on here,
Anyways, as my Dreambox 8000 has basically stopped connecting to my network, I have been in search for an upgrade,
I have come across the Dreambox One and the Dreambox 920,
Not seen much about them, I am hoping someone on here will shed some light on this,
Any reviews and which is recommended?
The One seems to be smaller with not many connections on the rear, whereas the 920 seems to have all the connections needed.. one connection in particular which interests me is the 2nd HDMI connection, the HDMI input.
I have also heard that there is or will be a Dreambox Two, it that correct?
Basically, what I am after is to
1. Install an internal hard drive,
2. Record channels in 4K, HD and SD,
3. Transfer recordings onto a laptop either directly, or over my home WiFi network, or by plugging in an external hard drive,
4. Be able to connect my existing internal hard drive (from my Dreambox 8000) so that I can continue to archive my existing recordings onto my laptop/another external hard drive
Thanks in advance,
