Actually @LONGITUDE:13.57

I bet 1£ that it will fix Eutelsat 48D @48°E (launch date December 20, 2008) which due to the anomaly that happened shortly after the launch is operating at around 50% of its original capacity.

The tracking is automatic if 7A has stopped at 13 east it will be manually corrected soon,

There is very little interest in backing up 48 east as it is of no advantage to Eutelsat atm,

It is the same for satellite positions @ 12.5 west & 24.5 west,

Satellite operators of multi million £/$ satellite's are loosing interest in these small insignificant satellite positions that are better served from the main satellite positions 46 east to 30 west.

In Afghanistan sad to say the satellite TV market has virtually collapsed due to the ongoing war conflicts.

is your thinking correct looking at the services offered of few afghanistan FTA TV and then do you have other locations in mind or do you think 13 degrees will be the point of arrival?

ops I see your reply now :D

16 east
21.5 east
33.1 east
36 east
48 east

48 east maybe the intended location as there has been nothing here for a long while except an inclined orbit satellite,

I am keeping an open mind for Eutelsat 7A final location 33.1 east & 48 east seem more lightly if the intended location is 139 west then it would have been quicker for E7A to have gone in a westerly direction

Eutelsat 7A is moving west currently @ 47.04 east.

Have previous plans for Eutelsat 7A relocation 7E to 139.2W been scrapped or is this another in-between mission maybe to 5 west ?

Thanks for this interesting message!

Then we can be curious where the bird is going to.

Alternatively, there would also be 16° E, this satellite is said to have technical problems with unconfirmed reports. For this reason, several transponders in the range 11,200 to 11,450 have been switched off in the past few months and the programs have been distributed to other frequencies.

Today is LONGITUDE: 41.46

Monday it will be around 36°E we will see what happen but
EUTE 36B (EUTE W7) launched on November 24, 2009 is the most powerful spacecraft in the fleet of Eutelsat programmed for 15 years life and it can be configured to have up to 70 Ku-band transponders so I don't think it will be replaced.

Two days after next target will be EUTE 3C (HB 10) @ 33°E ... bets are open
