Where to start? Advice Needed

Hi all.

I'm new to all this and I'm looking for some advice.

I've currently got a standard SKY receiver (UK) and I'm looking to replace it with something with HD & PVR capability. What receivers do people recommend? I have been looking at the M-Vison HD200, is this any good?

If I'm in the UK, what other channels can I expect to get from a normal fixed minidish using new firmware and keys?

Any advice is appreciated.

with your normal mini dish all you will get is 28 east fta, and there is nothing that opens with keys on that sat.

what ever setup you decide to get you want to go for a motorised one perhaps a 90cm or a meter dish.

Is it worth repointing the dish to another sat or is it just too small to pick anything up?

I'm on a fairly tight budget, what dish should I go for? Should I get a used dish or a new dish?

the mini dish is to small if your going to have a fixed dish point it at thor 1 west thats about the best sat for the hacked stuff at the moment.
