Hi Guys

Need your help. I have BH 1.6.2 FINAL in Flash. I have tried to see if there is a NFI image of VIX 2.2 for installing in Meoboot but of no avail. Is there a VIX 2.2 Backup NFI image available for trying in Meoboot?

Tks

Hi M8's

Could some of our expert friends check the suitability of this VIX 2.2 Meoboot image to be used in Multiboot with the latest drivers.

we do not release a .NFI format image nor do we support multiboot from VIX, if you do have VIX working with a multiboot system it is purely coincidental and not designed to do that.

Not coincidental at all if you know what your doing mate. As with any image on usb kernel and drivers must match :thum:

yes i know, i'm just saying that team VIX in no conscious way support multiboot operating systems. those that wish to use our image in such a way do totally on their own without any form of support from us.

Here at SU we have no censorship nor do we block any type of discussion regarding anything within the rules.

Now if members ask about the trying to run Vix in multiboot on SU we will discuss it and dont need the Vix team telling us they will be no support from them, on your forum you do that but not here.

If you have a problem with that stay on your own forum !

why the hostility ?.

i would never tell you what to do on your forum nor ask for censorship in any form !.
I am just letting users know that team vix do not support multiboot systems with the VIX image. it is the end users choice what to do with their box and and it is not for me to tell them what they can or can not do. i would not take that kind of stance on any forum i moderate nor would i expect to put that opinion upon any other forum.

if people want to use VIX as part of a multiboot system they are more than welcome, but we dont support nor have plans to support this so if a user was to run into problems with such a setup we could not offer help to remedy that problem as it's not some thing we use ourselves.

hi m8's - personally if you can't try out an image in multiboot then it's probably too much of a pain in the a&*e to try, so VIX are dipping out.
just my opinion..

Hi Phoenix, you are right, and Vix Team have a right to not support multiboot. But we as end users, dont understand that policy. No one image is ideal, and why we could not to have different images. Different image have different advances. Yes, we know , VIX Team dont support multiboot, we know it from the moment you stop to make .nfi image. But on this way you forced us to choose one image and use only it.It is not good idea not only for Yix, than other team also. But it is your decesion. Some time ago I used Vix image, but now I will not use it.

Kind regards

I like to use multiboot so I can try out different images and keep others and there settings so it is easy to change back as and when I fancy a change.By not having an nfi image for the vix I dont have the option to try it other than loading it in the flash. So I dont use it,shame really as I would like to try it.I am sure more users would support the image if available for multiboot
