That is a very sensible and logical post who is to say they ( 'BS' Sly 'B' UK ) are not just sitting and waiting
to make it a dark miserable Crimbo for all ??

The UEFA games are heavily protected we see that with BISS 2 being implemented more and more so it is the main priority
for them to protect and Darken UEFA Matches and even UFC on TNT etc..
We can only be extra grateful that UK is even at present just only partially working on Viark's and GT's etc..
the WM issues and attacks on cards no longer being reactivated after killer EMM's potentially will spell the end of the line
for UK TV sooner than later there is no doubt , nobody ever offered any guarantees that it wont stop at any moment in time :unsure:
Will anyone ever admit i am Right this time ??? probably not ...
its already been far too long since any news or updates regarding any of these chinese boxes which is also a worry ,
it looks to me like pretty much Sly TV have already at least partially defeated the chinese boxes it is a FACT o_O

the sky recievers hardware triggers on screen watermarks so if the card for that box is used in another receiver, enigma etc then no watermark can get displayed or am i missing something.

Hello evryone , does anyone have channel list for Viark Sat 4k , i want to configure my dish on Eutlsat 16E , to watch LDC , thank you

I would guess they are triggering serial numbers on screen but very small and very quick and in the overscan areas on the edge of screen. Or they could be doing it in the middle of the night. Then they just need to record the output on their own pirate box at the appropriate moment to find the offending account and cancel it. You don't need fancy DRM.

Really not that big a deal for football. All their games can be found elsewhere if you have a mobile dish.

TNT have no control over the chinese recievers so have no way to add card serial number id's to the output. If it stays dark then the Sky content will go the same way so enjoy it while it lasts.

1 way to track down the offending cards could be with fake channels that only xyz cards can open

Yes but somewhere in the chain there is a legit TNT account. I would speculate that if not serial numbers then they have another way of manipulating the content to some users and not others until they work out which customer is being naughty.

For example you have customers A, B, C, D. At 3 am you freeze the output sequentially for each one for ten seconds by suspending their account momentarily. If the output freezes on Forever when D is in the freeze zone, then D is the one.

I'm not saying that's exactly how they do it but I imagine some variation on that. It's a lot of effort for TNT and pretty pointless given how few people are using Forever in UK, but I guess they think it's worth it. I imagine that's why Forever are so big on putting serial numbers on screen themselves - the last thing they want is to become part of the much bigger IPTV piracy food chain, because then it is very much worth operators while to block them.

In fact it's perfectly possible that someone was streaming Forever to IPTV and they got blocked as collateral damage.
