I can't search for channels on other satellites, for example on Astra: I set the USALS but it doesn't move from Hot Bird (I tested it on Dream and it works fine):(

Under antenna configuration make sure each satellite position has usuals selected and not NONE.
When I was updating the LNB Power to 13V/18V on all of the satellites, I also changed the USALS to 'None' as I'm still using the motor on my TM-5402 M3 as I'm used to it and know how it works.

Last night, I was adding satellites to the Viark Sat 4K. I added Telstar 12 Vantage ~ 15.0°W but when trying to search 11043 V 44100 to get the North Sea UK TV and radio channels, (which are already on the TM and getting 11.1dB / 79%), I had no success with the Viark Sat 4K. I was able to get a weakened versions of the Belarus-24 HD, Etihad and AL Manar TV channels received from the nearby Express AM8 at 14.0°W satellite which I had also added, but nothing from Telstar 12 Vantage ~ 15.0°W ~ 11043 V 44100. Please could someone try and get these UK channels on Telstar 12 Vantage ~ 15.0°W ~ 11043 V 44100 to see if they have better luck in adding them to the Viark. I've added satellite 15.0°W and having done a blind scan it added 45 TP's, one of which is 11043 V 44100 with 'Strength 92% / Quality 66%'. TIA :)

Signal okay but PMT PIDS Are hidden so Virak box does not scan BBC Freesat channels .
i try myself but have had no success either .
unless someone has those channels added from a year ago in their channel list when PMT PIDS Were not hidden would be only hope
then that person could upload that list and you then can transfer it on your Viark Sat 4K via USB ,
i just cant see any other way i'm afraid .

PMT pid is encrypted, Viark can't see it.

...thanks fellas - was just curious as to why the Viark couldn't see them - got them on the TM so all is good :)

Totally correct @manic01 ,
do you recall i believe last year that i messaged you regarding this same problem even my TM5402 M3 would not scan anything since PMT PIDS suddenly encrypted ,
then you gave me your channel list with those BBC Freesat channels included and it worked great ever since .
That is why i said that if someone had Prev. scanned those BBC Freesat from a year or so ago on their Viark and could upload the list it would be workable to work around but i doubt that will be the case .
i would advise not to rescan on TMate just like manic01 said unless u have a backup list ready to reload as i am quite sure nothing will scan again that is why i choose not to rescan as only BBC Freesat is on 15W nothing more that sat been sitting idle for almost too long already : )

...yes I got that impression from your post - every single day I do both channel and key backups for the TM, often as I want to copy fresh PIDS / Keys to a 2nd TM 5402. Thanks again :)
Never bothered but after rereading your post I see why you do.
Not sure how many keys you could possibly be using though.

...it's just much easier to do backups and then copy them onto a 2nd TM. Whilst learning about how the Viark works, I'm also regularly doing backups of the channels and keys on that - too much time and effort on sorting 'favourites' etc. to be lost now! :)

Not sure why keys need backing up there's very few left active anymore, and known keys au anyway on viark.

...on the Viark it looks like the keys don't need backing up - it's just a 'better to be sure than sorry' habit - I'll soon no longer backup the keys on the Viark when I get more used to it :)

motor:none

Change that on every satellite position to

motor:Usuals
under the engine heading, it doesn't say usals:
movim.auto
movim.ovest-est
adjustment appropriate
save position
go to position
go to reference
set limit east
set limit west
deactivate limit

You have to put your usuals cordinates in under setup too.
