Swiss public broadcaster SRG SSR will cut around 250 job positions to save CHF40 million (€37 million) per year.
With the move, the broadcaster wants to avoid writing red figures from 2016.
Around 190 positions will be removed through early retirements, redundancies and worktime reductions and further 60 positions through not filling vacancies.
The cost saving measures will come into force from November 2015.
