hello team, I have to reflash my qviart dual 4k, because I no longer have control in E2 openpli image, I updated the image, but it keeps rebooting my question: which image should I use the dual_usb or the dual_multi thanks in advance for your advice a+ -

If you are putting the images in the boot slots i always usb the multiboot version. If recovering the e2 side can use the restore versions of the images.

at the moment i run VU+ Boxes and a VIARKSAT 4K with sp.. now all of a sudden i read a little about this "incredible new Qviart Dual V2"
but i don't understand it at all. now i am not too bright with this stuff and have very poor memory for this stuff but could someone help me understand what this is ..
Like can i still use it as a viarksat 4k watching the same channels as i do now including the sp.?
and what i can understand i think is that it can a replace my VU+ Solo 4k and my VU+UNO 4k SE both running vix software??
is this right ?
are there many problems to doing this or is it pretty straight forward?

The standard dual has two sides, one side is a special android side that allows you to watch the channels like the viark sat 4k. On the other side you boot from android to enigma 2 just like use on your other E2 boxes. The android side is ok and works but could have the odd issue. The E2 side has 4 x slots you can boot into, but i do not think it any better than the solo 4k. The solo 4k i think is more stable even though its many years old. As you have the viark sat 4k and E2 boxes i would stop with what you have.

"Dual V2" is how the Spanish warehouse / seller sells the Qviart Dual that comes with server, in comparison with the first units like yours and mine that came without any sub... That's the way they found to make clear that Duals being sold at the moment come with 2years sub.

After performing a new scan some channels have no sound, though uploading my previous backed-up list brings the exactly same channels with sound Did anyone face that? (I was on 1.12, did a factory reset, installed the 6.0, reset, then 1.13, reset.)

in an email from Parde... i just bought one arrived today and i think this was a big mistake now i have seen your post.. i only bought hoping it was better on the viark side of thing as viarksat is pretty unreliable and cram menu system..thanks for the reply

Re read the post mate it has 2 years SP sub activated as soon as you flash PT firmware

in an email from Parde... i just bought one arrived today and i think this was a big mistake now i have seen your post.. i only bought hoping it was better on the viark side of thing as viarksat is pretty unreliable and cram menu system..thanks for the reply

crap menu system and very unreliable half the time it won't record half the time it will not lock what few channels there are...

No the menu system is different to the viark sat 4k. The box is both android and enigma 2 but it works with the forever server on the android side.

I still haven't opened it and tried to set this up yet as i said i am old and not so great at this stuff, BUT i have just been looking at the so called manual and read this..
OPTIONAL FUNCTION

In the Qviart DUAL the PVR function is an optional function (requires a CPU licence) that contains:

- Timeshift.

- Records.

- Playback of recordings.

does this mean you cannot record without extra equipment??? which i can do on my viarksat 4k???

I have just taken a look at the link a couple of problems are there is no 6 firmware and the link to the firmware on the page is dead..

Read page 28 of this thread all the firmware links are there and are working.

It's only on the android side and is enabled by flashing the Dual with the latest firmware.

Once done and your connected to the internet you will be able to view channels that are normally locked
