Mini One new patch

OK so I downloaded this patch and had a brief look.

I haven't done an exhaustive and thorough test but have tested and can confirm the following working...

1. Bee Tee Sports and Channels on 28.2E
2. Sly UK and Channels on 28.2E
3. Sly DE and Channels on 19.2E
4. Sly IT and Channels on 13.0E
5. BISS AU on known 15W sports channels.

Please note that I didn't do any feed testing so can't speak to whether BISS AU works with that, but if this
is a similar SW update to the TM 5402 M4 recent May 17th patch then it should work.

This is patch release is quite surprising for two reasons.
1. It looks like TM or whoever is reacting and trying to become more like Viark and produce regular updates.
2. At £50 to £60 for this Mini One box, it now provides a lower cost alternative. Add an FS - SP1 sub for 25 Euros and
you now get what I outlined above and more.

Cheers m8 for your comprehensive comments above - I'd assumed that maybe the M4 17/5/23 patch had been adapted to fit on the Mini too.

It's very likely and a logical inference to draw as the sizes of the patches for each box are roughly the same.

I'm just curious as to why this was done. It's not as if the Mini One is/was heavily promoted/marketed, if at all.

As far as I know, only a few of us on this forum have them.

The Mini One may be aimed primarily at the trade, they did the same with the TM F3 Super and the TM A1, You never see/saw any of these for sale on their website.

Fully working patches are generally left, Only faulty patches or patches with info they want removing from public view are deleted.

Guess what...Another new patch was just released in the d/l centre.

This time the date is July 11th, as opposed to the one dated July 10th earlier in the day that
has now been overwritten. That's two releases in the same day...lol

Seriously, what on earth is going on with these releases and does anyone even know what the
release is for and/or any fixes, new features, etc? I certainly don't.
