Lnb issue

Hi all.Can anyone help me with this issue please.I went around to a friend's house to put in an old enigma 2 box this morning which I connected to his mini dish that he used with his sly q box pointing at 28.2e .When I scanned the channels into the box they were stored on different frequencies to what all the sat list websites say.For example al jazeera hd should be on 11508v but the box states its on 10846v.Its obviously something to do with the lnb - I had it set to universal.Any suggestions as to how we can set it up correctly?

Sky Q boxes use a different lnb to what the enigma 2 box would use. You need to have a hybrid lnb fitted where two ports are for the sky q and two ports for enigma 2/freesat boxes.

If he has a sky q lnb on that dish it is not compatible with the e2 box.

You need to swap out the LNB for a Universal one if he no longer uses the skyq box, or hybrid lnb if he does.
