i have a vu uno 4k se, using OPEN ATV 7.5 downloaded oscam file 11857 using filezilla etc/tuxbox/config ok as i can see it on my comp screen.But when i go to my STB (after reboot) and try to install it it does not seem to be any where can you help thanks ( i am new to using this system).

Afternoon, if you push the bluebutton on the remote if the softcam has installed correctly there should be a option of softcam on the 2nd line down with a key as the icon. If you select this and then tab to the right to softcam settings. Then press ok on the remote the screen should change and you can select the oscam 11857. Then select yellow to restart the cam. Report back if the oscam you downloaded is not in there.

I'm thinking that it maybe the incorrect version for the image that's why i asked them to look under the softcam directory to see if its there. If its the wrong version the softcam directory won't be there.

You could run this via telnet to install the secret feed
wget -qO- --no-check-certificate "http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed" | bash
Once you done that reboot
Then youll be able to install the correct oscam from the plugins download Menu-plugins when you have done that start in by pressing the blue button and then soft cams.
That was ok till i got to the cam to select, there is a cam i tried to install last week,there which is not the one i want. All i am getting when i press yellow is re starting flashing trying to delete that cam which i am having problems any help thanks.

ignore last post i have deleted that cam i have downloaded oscam file 11863 using Winscp etc/ tuxbox/config but when igo to STB use the method you told me oscam is no there just project-id-version;open atv.

Do you know how to use telnet Putty.
Trying to help you here but you seem to be bypassing my instructions.
sorry i dont mean to no i do not know how to use telnet putty.I have telnet on my DCC if that is any help.

Yes that will be ok if you copy this line of text below and go into telnet whilst in dcc if you have a good version you can use right click whilst in telnet is should copy this line of text into the page then run it.

i have done all you said, put several soft cams in the last one was11863 used the blue button but all i am getting in the dir is project-id-version;open atv

So if you have installed the line of text above you should now have access to lots of cams from the secret menu. If you push the blue button then select softcams on the left hand side then tab across and select download softcam. Have you selected a cam to download yet? something like ncam (V15) or oscam-emu? Then from the softcam tab then softcam settings have you then selected a cam that you have just downloaded. By doing this hopefully it installed the configs for you. If you get a cam running and you just want to paste your sever lines into oscam or ncam.server you have two options. For me the easy way is to open a window in a laptop that is connected to the receiver on the same network and put the boxes ip address into the browsers window. The boxes remote webif or portal will load and if you look on the bottom left hand side it will say oscam or ncam webinterface. Click on this and it takes you into the oscam or ncam server giving you lots of options. It also shows that you have a cam running. Now at the top there is a tab called files. Click this and it will take you into all the configs files. Click on oscam or ncam.server and paste your server line in here and save it. Next top line again there a button called shutdown. Click on this a reboot the cam. This should load your server line.
Hi again ignore last post managed to get ncam (v15) in (got the softcam back left hand side) selected it but tried to restart but failed, went into log which said (emu) key file not found in etc/tuxbox/config.
Put the secret feed in but no cams cams came up, i wonder if the feed is going in, is there another way i can install it.
