I had a chance 2 try the new Apple IPad and I have some impression that i would like 2 share. It s not a review, just impressions of a normal man
Weight and dimensions:
Really light and portable with very handy dimensions. Screen size is just suitable 4 almost all applications I tried( Internet surfing, Photos, Videos and even Games).
- response of screen touch and magnification of photos s very good.
- enjoyed the size of the popping-up keyboard, anyone could use it very easily without mixing buttons. It pops-up very quickly.
- motion and flipping sensors are working fine as advertised ( It was nice when I played a car race by tilting IPad on such a big screen " compared to the screen size mobile phones").
Drawbacks :
- forget Multi-tasking. U can only do one thing at a time. (really disappointing ).
- No Camera . it will disappoint u if u r a fan of cam chatting.
Finally:
It s not a PC/Laptop substitute. It is made just 4 fun. If u need sthg that helps u surfing internet, watch movies and photos and read online books, u will definitely buy IPad. It would be definitely a great present for wives
)If u r a serious user, forget it ( at least until they they solve the multitasking issue.)
Price range : 450-800 Euros (as I remember) depending on the model (Wifi or Wifi+3G) and the capacity (16-64 GB) ( as in Germany)
