HUMAX IR1020HD ..is this for real?

I have recently bought , grudgingly , this receiver in order to watch the English premier league subscription with AD TV. The service provider forces you to buy this receiver to decode the channels. This is only my second Sat receiver after the good old Humax 5400 which I bought about a century ago .

I am absolutely shocked by the very poor quality of this HD receiver both in HD and SD formats. The latter is a disgrace. Before I go and shoot my mouth at Abu Dhabi TV and Humax , could anyone here who has this receiver please comment on his/her experience?

I also have Kathrein 910 HD , Strong 4900 HD and Dreambox800 HD in my household , that is why I did not want an additional receiver to start with , but that is the only only that one could get the subscription.

You experience sounds rather like the Technosat receiver supplied to the MBC HD channels.........
Slow to switch channels
Brief breaks when using the PVR facility, if you can call it that.
No scheduler for PVR

Have you tried your ADMC card in the Dreambox 800?
That would be my choice for a receiver.

I didn't think that Dreambox unots are compatible with ADMC card.
I have since bought a Dreambox 500HD (original , not a clone) I am quite happy with it. Since you mentioned that , I might give it a go and try the ADMC card with DM 500HD.

The card is Irdeto, and unless it is paired with the box
I would expect it to work in the DB.
I use CCcam to support Irdeto and Viaccess cards in my DB 7020.

ADMC uses irdeto3 paired card.nothing you can do about that,
unless you have the new cam algo.

I have the above admc decoder.but now it is not working. on the front disply it show a rototig green light continiouly. please is their some one how to jtag this decoder ? inside the board there is a jtag connection.
