OpenATV 7.3 backup for DAB+ radio on sat Eutelsat 9E and Eutelsat 10E for Octagon SF8008 by Maumixio 2023

Download: _https://www.mediafire.com/file/gr4nphqxvzl807j/openatv-7.3-sf8008-backup-20230711_1502_usb.zip/file
How can I upload this backup in my Octagon SF8008?
I opened the zip file and put the content on a USB stick, I have all files under the Octagon folder.
But when I insert the stick in the Octagon USB port and the Recovery menu starts, selecting USB Multiboot Image Upgrade I receive this message:
"No Image found on the USB Device".
Tried different drives but no way.
I need this backup to understand how to proceed with satellite DAB.
In my own image I'm able to read the station list, but I'm stuck in the final step: playing the audio.
I created my own bouquet, it seems all ok, but when I select a station in the Favorite list, nothing happens. No sound.
So I hope to understand something more seeing the files in your backup. Thanks.

1, USB Multiboot Image Upgrade works only with ZIP files (not Octagon folder)
2, check if your dabstreamer starts together with the system at boot

Sometimes I ask to myself if I'm stupid or what else......
I carefully read the guide (thank you so much @EnoSat!), but nothing changed.
I leave the file compressed respecting the original file name openatv-7.3-sf8008-backup-20230711_1502_usb.zip, two different USB sticks are perfetly recognized from the box (I see that on the top right of the screen), but when I select UST Multiboot Image Upgrade option the same message appears:
"No image found on the USB storage device".
Two totally different USB drives: one 4GB and one 64GB.
Tried to replace usb with mmc in the file name, but nothing.
Unbelievable. Maybe my Recovery Menu could be the issue?
The box is new, purchased two weeks ago, and the menu version is 1.0-11/11/2022, is it the proglem?
What can I check? Thanks.

Then you have to upload the backup from Menu image and not from Menu recovery

@Francescone: Copy the file from the link to a usb stick, insert the usb stick into the receiver. Use the online Flash function, the Backup images option will appear and select the backup image from the stick, choose the slot you want to install. The image in the link is a current openatv 7.5 backup for Octagon SF8008 and contains settings and tools for satellite dab radio.

This is a VERY useful information! And a VERY useful file too.
Now it's too late, time to go in bed, but tomorrow I try and let you know.
Thank you very very much.

I made exactly as you suggested, but no Backup options appeared in the Octagon Recovery menu.
As I mentioned, selecting "USB Multiboot Image Upgrade" no images are found in the USB stick connected to the port at the right side of the box, although the stick is perfectly recognised and visible at the top of the screen.
Selecting "Network Multiboot Image Upgrade" I can scroll many images including the Latest Recovery Menu that I just updated, but no Backup options appeared.
I also attempted to download the Openatv 7.5 in an empty slot thinking to flash your backup from inside the image but it seems not possible, a computer must be used and this is a problem.
Where I wrong? Thanks.

Where I wrong
you are not following simple instructions and this thread has gone way off topic.

1. Take a usb stick.
2. format usb stick to fat32
3. copy the backup image linked to above to your formatted usb stick, exactly as you have downloaded it. leave it as a zip file.
4. place usb stick in STB
5. reboot STB
6. using your remote control, press menu -setup - software management - flash online - backup images - choose the back up you have downloaded - choose the slot you want to flash.

if you are still not finding your backup image you have downloaded on your usb stick, then FTP the backup to your hard drive on you STB and dont use a usb stick.
the location of which is normally /media/hdd/images or /media/usb/images. You should see your own backups in the same location.

On openatv images there is also the green button to expand whilst in software management - flash online, and this often shows up the files on the usb stick.

Sorry for the off topic, you are right.
I was stuck in the SF8008 Recovery menu, did not understand that you refered to the image menu, maybe because openatv is not my usual image. It works now.
Back to the topic: DAB. Finally I have a working image including DAB stations, THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL OF YOU!!
But now I want to understand how to proceed on myself. I will analyse this backup, I believe that the most important files are lamedb and bouquets, is it correct?
Obviously I save your original zip file immediately!
Thank you again.

Still not able to upload images to my SF8008 via USB, other than through the Recovery menu who clean all slots.
But if I want to upload any image, say, in the slot 2.... no way.
