How do you update Oscam on PGI 0.61?

The version of Oscam in the latest DGS type PGI image uses an API wrapper. Does anyone know how to update the Sh4 Oscam executable? Also where do the config files go by default? Clearly the var/etc/oscam directory is not the normal default directory. And can one then run the updated version from the old scripts or do you need a new one?

Anyone tried updating Oscam? Personally I find it the best and most stable emu to use.

on my mind isn't possibile.
a patched version of oscam runs on PGI.
I tried another version more recent,but the log says
couldn't detect api version- module dvbapi disabled'

The oscam version needs to be compiled for sh4 platform..

Only one version has been compiled we need to wait untill somone compiles the latest update...

Yeah. Thanks to both of you for replies. Jamie I've seen sh4 versions of Oscam being compiled daily in the emu section on this site:-

but like you both I can't see how you could use these updates with the included apiwrapper. Perhaps that itself needs updating.

Incidentally I've found it useful to include the webif section in oscam.conf to monitor the emu.

This is then used by typing yourboxip:8888 into your browser.

with admin/admin as un/pw

Very useful.
