• Discussion in the Admin room about nightly images, we dont really need or want these posting for the following reasons.

    1. We all know where to get them.
    2. Never have a change log.
    3. The changes if any are not worthy of anyone upgrading there boxes on a daily basis.
    4. They clutter the forum up.

help uploading keys on Comag HD-S CI100

Hello everyone,
I am trying to upgrade and upload new keys on my Comag HD-S CI100 following all the instructions provided with STBUpgrader 1.0.4 but when I upgrade the key using the key.bin file or by a converted key.rs232 file after the receiver is restarted I only see this picture
.Can you please advise if this is normal and if so what should I do next. All your help is much appreciated.

Are you loading the new keys via USB ?
I've had problems via null modem cable too, but never via USB (using a 1GB stick)

Comag HD keys uploading

Hi ecotje,
Thank you for your advise.I dont have problems using my USB stick for uploading keys but can you please advise which file do you actually use to upload the key- is it the .rs232 or the key.bin file. One more question-can I probably have this problem if I have a cryptoworks CAM modul inserted in the receiver or should I leave it out of the receiver?

Use STBUpgrader version 1.04 (or higher) (e.g. comes with Comag HD-CI100 Kompendium v0.6) then use menu Tools --> Convert --> Get Key
You need to load the rs232 file, I load it through USB after which the Comag will reboot.

help uploading comag keys

Hi,
Thank you again mate. The problem is that when I follow your advise i can only select a *.bin file and not a .rs232 file. Can i use the converter tool to convert the .bin file into .rs232.
