after my Arion AF 9300 (with a sensational 20-30 MByte/s USB 2.0 movie file transfer speed to my computer) died years ago, I had a Atevio AV 7000 HD with a poor transfer rate of 2-5 MByte/s over Ethernet.
So I looked forward and took a VU+ duo and flashing VTi images. Having fears that it would die also some day, I added a VU+ solo2. They have a transfer rate of approx 8 MByte/s and 24 MByte/s max.
Till today I am searching a good video cutter that leaves shortened TS-files in a state that the VU+ can play them without any trouble at all.
And I try to find a good description how to install and use midnight commander on my VU+ to be able to copy files locally fast from internal to external hard disk, and not detour over LAN and PC.
