Which receivers can tune the new DVB-S2X transponders with Long and Short Frame mode?
My box EDISION OS mio+ 4K with AVL6261C can only process Long Frame Mode.

satellites.xml for testing DVB-S2X Long/Short Frame Mode
XML:
<transponder frequency="10730000" symbol_rate="34285000" polarization="0" fec_inner="0" system="1" modulation="0"/><!-- short -->
<transponder frequency="10770000" symbol_rate="34285000" polarization="1" fec_inner="0" system="1" modulation="0"/><!-- long -->

PS:
Theoretically, after changing to AVL6261A, both Long and Short should work, but I have no idea who would undertake such a change.

13 E nice catch, not in any charts.
I can not scan that despite permanent signal lock on SF4008 (Si21622) and good signal 10 dB. About 30W lock is not permanent and also can not scan.

Can you extract parametrs of this transponder and channels on 13E from lamedb ?

My HD51 and SF8008 with Si2166D they also cannot scan these new transponders

Could you please tell me what is the indicator or flag that identifies short frame mode in the DVB-S2X list and the xml list that you linked to ?

none in enigma, either the tuner can handle (etc. AVL6261) it or it can't (Si2166D,Si21622)
If someone has another tuner, they can write whether they can do it or not

If anyone has DVB-S2X tuners in receivers or TBS cards they need to know how to identify a short frame mode frequency. The only one you have listed is the one here

<transponder frequency="10730000" symbol_rate="34285000" polarization="0" fec_inner="0" system="1" modulation="0"/><!-- short -->

In your xml file none of the frequencies have the -- short--> indicator.
Not every person can receive Euro satellites so how would they know what to look for if they wanted to test?

Did you open the XML file from the first post?
Did you open the page with frequencies and positions from the first post?

It is a similar question as to differentiate in the enigma DVB-S2 and as DVB-S2X.
-short-
DVBS2XSuperframeGenerationForFormats2And3Example_02.png

-long-(-normal)
DVBS2XSuperframeGenerationForFormats2And3Example_01.png

or simple table in ETSI EN 302 307

yes, SF8008 used Si2166D and momentary not support + no solution even on octagon forum :confused:
There was a similar problem when receiving FAN3 from Hispasat (unstable on Si2166D and stable on AVL6261)
vs.
FAN3

What receiver or how did you get the satellites.xml file you linked in post 1?
I scanned 23.5e and exported xml but it does not look like your file and not list any info about short mode.

Modulation better 0 (AUTO) as 1 (QPSK)
System must be 1 (DVB-S2/S2X) , if 0 (DVB-S)

Yes I can see the picture you uploaded but you not answer my question about how you got it with the details of the short mode included.
