does pc card need positioner

if i use pc card or usb pc card will it move motor or do i need positioner i know how to do diesqc side or usal thanx

At least some of them will move the motor. There is some applications and plugins that serve that purpose.
Like SS2 Motor Mover for example that is used to control diseqc1.2 motor with sky star 2 card.
