DM800HD PVR: How to Multiboot?

Dear Friend,

As we know, DM800HD had been recently released; Can I get your help in setting the Barry Allen Multi-BootExtention Plugins; This of course can let us keep the origional image in the built-in Flash as use an USB Flash Disk to safely test other images.

Unzip BarryAllen to your desktop.

Rename the enigma2-plugin-extensions-barryallen_4.5.5_mipsel.ipk to barryallen.ipk

Start DCC.
Click on the FTP button.
In the right hand window select the location of the barryallen.ipk.
In the lefthand panel open the folder /tmp.
Highlight the barryallen.ipk in the right hand window and click the < button to transfer the file.

Now at this point if your running any other image than the one that came on your DM800 you can install via via plungin manager, although i find this hit and miss.The telnet method work every time.

To instal via telnet

Insert you flash-drive in the rear of the DM800

Click the telnet button in DCC.
Now type cd / Make sure correct use of the space.

Now type ipkg install /tmp/barryallen.ipk

Youll now see text messages on screen telling you it has found your cf and is formatting it.

Then it will say restarting Enigma!

When this is done reboot your DM800.

If all has gone well you will see the red barry allen splash screen just select the Load flash it is the only option available for now.

I see the red barry allen splash screen, but dont know how to added images on HDD and how to restart with the new image, could you please explain that?

you need to send the unzipped image with a ftp prog to /media/usb/MB_Images/
or to /media/hdd/MB_Images/ depend what you have installed either a usb stick or an hard drive.

once you have ftp'd the image to the folder go to barry allen plugin and install the image from there, i think its install an image at MB_Images folder open it you will see the image highlite and press ok or install.

i have 800 hd clone sim 201 ssl 84

use nabilo blackhole 2.1.5 or >

multiboot ok with meobbot plugin on yhis Img

just
put usb ;
format ;
instal plug in by nabilo pannel;
reboot
after instal compatible multiboot img with .zip extension
ex : vti.8.2.0.zip
put the file with DCC on media/usb/MBootUpload
go plug in meoboot and instal

what is the best image ( new one ) to use as flash image on dm 800 hd ssl 84d sim 2.01 to rum bbarryallen on it
and which barry allen version will work well
