Amiko Mini HD Combo Firmware

Hi,

i'm new to Amiko Mini Combo HD.

I get in Mini Combo HD Sticky thread to get latest firmware, and i see "edision", "super", "galaxy", "ultra" and "multi"

Please can someone tell what's the difference between each one?

What should i install as i want to use it as CCcam Client.

Galaxy is Synaps just like Amiko Official software
All software is with EMU
Ultra i Multi have Synpas graphic with changed color of GUI and some other option .

Edision have different graphic .

Amiko official software already has CCcam support, or must change to one of those firmwares?

In other words, whats the difference between official Amiko Firmware, and those ones?

If you want to run CCcam for "CS" you must upgrade STB with Emu software no Mcas.
Amiko Synaps
Galaxy Synaps
or other.

The official "AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_1.2.02_conax.rar" firmware dont have emu for CCcam?

Sorry, but should receive my receiver Combo in 2 days, and i need a little orientation, to make the right upgrade.

Yes, with this software you can run "CS" and Emu program with mcaskey.

Im also in the same boat, i should receive my Mini Combo in a couple of days and have no where to start.
I have already downloaded the official firmware AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_1.2.02_conax.abs but like hasafly i am unsure as to whether or not i should install this or AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_Galaxy_1.2.12_by Dekolte?
I dont know much about these boxes, i have upgraded from a SkyBox A3 simply because of the twin tuner.
Do these boxes display 7 day epg with official firmware and is that reliant on a usb memory stick inserted?
What would be the benefit of having the unofficial firmware over the official if all i'll be doing is watching TV with my line information.
Appreciate all the help.

Like 7 day epg (usb needed or not), difference in firmware for end user etc
Where can we download most up to date channel lists for SKyUK and Cable

Try Amiko synaps and Galaxy Synaps, you'll see the difference some option, emu is update and other.
7 day EPG does not work at Amiko Astra 28,2E

You need USB for upgrade software.
For Ch. list dont know who made for England.

Dear Dekolte,

In all versions after 1.1.76 the mediaplayer of amiko mini hd combo is acting bad. When the user is fast fowarding/rewinding a mkv movie, the receiver is getting restarted. This is not happening in 1.1.76. After that particular version, if you use a portable HDD, the receiver is restarting soon after fast fowarding. I have tried to supply the receiver with more juice (6Amps 12V power supplier) and the receiver is still restarting after fast forwarding. So the problem seems to be the software, not the hardware.

I have a few remarks for software for Amiko 8840

AMIKO_HD8840_Galaxy_1.6.25_by Dekolte.rar

There is no serbian language listed in the menu, as well as, selection of subtitles and primary preffered language. Because of that the DVB subtitle cannot be turned on automaticaly on channel change. Lates official firmware contains these options, so therfore I was forced to use original firmware only patched to support emu and mcas.

Honestly, haven't tried Multi and Ultra.

Good job these firmwares. Im using it in amiko hd se. Is it possible to add there slovak or czech languages and some providers to fast scan like upc sk,cz,hu also skylink. Also there is kino live but its russian and could u give there a source with czech movies if it possible i would send u some links.
