Amber alert - Northern lights

There is an amber alert for the northern lights so there is a reasonable chance (weather depending) on seeing the northern lights tonight in North UK / Scotland and N. Ireland.

Sometimes I wish I lived up north.


Enjoy them if you see them.

It'll be the sixth time for me if thats the case tonight ..i know last night would have been really ideal since it was really clear and calm with a lot of stars around in the sky .
today is quite a bit more cloudy but hopefully there is a chance again ..its only just a 20min drive to find out for me
so for sure its worth a look ,

Another Amber alert for tonight.

That previous Amber alert was raised to a RED alert which meant that it should have been visible much further south depending on cloud cover.
Apparently it was seen as far south as Germany.
