HI all,, just registered here as it seems a good source for files.. Currently playing with a fortec star fs-4000v2 that did have issues - mainly rolling images & colour solarisation - pretty much unusable !! So, been a fiddler I ripped it open & hooked it up to the lappy.. Now updated to a new fw the thing works fine.. Now I'm trying to get away from the nasty menu colour scheme, so, gonna try throwing all kinds of generic / clone firmwares at this puppy since its using the ALi m3329c.. 
I have backups of the original fw & a copy of the newer one - gimme a shout if anyone needs it..
