    12130 V 30000 on 26 East

I'm getting 10.5 dB signal from this on a rainy day with my T90 dish in Istanbul. You should get more in south of England with 1.1 metre according to this map: https://ibb.co/5YvHbrt

Yep, excellent signal like the other Vivacom frequencies. https://ibb.co/b34Cn5t

    Kabelio on 13E

It was just a joke concerning Swiss law, but thanks for the link anyway :)

    Kabelio on 13E

Hey Kabelio, Please add all the remaining FTA channels on 28.2E, especially Challenge TV. Also, scandi channels like SVT, NRK etc would be very welcome. Thank you very much! ;)

    27 west satback

No, because I think it's expensive. But I know people who bought the module from Amazon and activated it online at Kabelio website with a random (but existing) swiss address.

Maybe they changed mode or FEC. Octagon SF8008 doesn't care about those but Dreambox and Vu+ do, if I remember correctly.

Maybe it's cheaper to use a smaller beam for a limited area? This is just a guess of course ;)

As I said above, I don't think it will stay like this. If the package moves to wide beam, you'll be able to receive it like the rest of the sat, or maybe they'll decide to broaden this beam - it's very unusual as it is now.

I think this is a test period and the package will move to wide beam if they decide to stay, but it's only my opinion.

Nope, it was always "Super Beam" but the first days it was illuminating North-West Europe and signal was zero in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey etc. Then they decided to do the opposite which is fine for people like me in South-East Europe ;) It's still early days, who knows what will come next...

Yes, they're back too. It's very interesting, with the return of these two frequencies the signal of 12692 H dropped from 86% to 72%

Yes, three frequencies returned (12616 H, 12634 V, 12654 H) with same high signals and EPG info. Some channels changed TP. 12673 V and 12713 V still with no signal. https://ibb.co/NYdqJck

All signals off now, maybe they travel north again?

Hopefully they will bring their EPG as well this time ;)

I'm guessing this new "Super Beam" is a bit similar to Balkan beam of 1.9E BulgariaSat https://ibb.co/dW2wTHr

Full signal on all 5 frequencies in Istanbul, and there's heavy rain! https://ibb.co/FbFJh1q I'm warming to this "Super Beam" if it's here to stay ;)

Apparently it's called "Super Beam" and the map is nowhere to be found yet. https://www.lyngsat.com/maps/footprints/Hotbird-13F-Super.html

I don't see what could be the logic to circulate a test beam across Europe like a flashlight, instead of transmitting via Wide beam which is receivable from everywhere.

    Vivacom Hot Bird@ 13° E

Yes, finally! In Istanbul 99% signal on all 5 frequencies (17-18 dB) Someone probably forgot to press a button at the beginning - never saw a new beam adjusting in 5 days :)
