So I have two 5402HD M3 receivers, I tried taking out the CAM and inserting it into the other machine but I just get 'CAM initializing', put it back in the original machine and it is fine, does anyone know why?

Yes, I have recorded BBC whilst watching ITV no problem. I haven't tried recording two channels yet though. Update, I have successfully recorded two channels whilst watching a third on the same transponder.

Yes just set up and working fine in Málaga with a Technomate 5402 HD M3 and 1m dish. Activating the card was pretty easy just need to find a valid Swiss address and use a translator from German to English to complete the fields, used my real name and date of birth and obviously a valid email...

Do you know which receivers will work?

I have ordered a Kabelio CI+ module from Amazon to decode the UK channels that are on Hotbird 13E. I have a Technomate 5402HD M3 with the CI slot. Will this work with the module I have ordered? Never used this type of system before so be gentle. 🤣

I am in the Málaga area so I don't think I will be able to receive it even with a large dish? If anyone has any further information for this area great. I use IPTV as well so not the end of the world.
