I have always patched by sw software as i have never used CAS DATA untill last night(which was very fast) can anyone tell me what is better patch or CAS DATA. or do i have to install both? Does the CAS DATA allow AU on some packages

Just joined today just waiting on my echolink 3020 and abracadabra card to come. Then the fun may start when i try to patch it. I have patched an echolink 777 in the past so i am sure it will be the same.
