is anyone recording live video onto an eSATA or USB drive using a IP900 succesfully??

Can anyone advise me the best way to go in replacing a nokia dbox2 with a HD equivalent. Was looking at the dreambox dm800 or the AB IPBOX 9000 or 900, does anyone have this running in the UK successfully using DVB-c? If so which image is best and what did you use to load it / modify the image...

just wanted to introduce myself as a new member looking at upgrading a UK dbox2 to a HD box maybe an AB IPbox 9000 or 900 or DM800 but not sure on the images, loaders etc for UK cable
