Do you or anyone know which sat is the limit on a 2600 is east/west when set up in the uk by that i mean not what a person is receiving but what they could receive if full line of sight on the arc. Some motors like the stab have a limit set so even if you have clear line of sight is not able to move any further.Technomate 2600 far better than stab with metal gears too and faster than a Stab anytime.
Darkmotor is ok aswell but just very awkward fitting F connectors as there is limited space to work with when Darkmotor is fully assembled and braket is attached ,why hasn`t any body said about the new darkmotor cos im thinking about one any help ?

Thanks for the info on query AceB. That was the reply i was looking for as initially though just putting motor up would be sufficient to get full view of arc but now realise can go further if limits on this motor are activated and should be able to go further round than my stab motor.I'm using an Motek 2100A which looks of similar construction and get from 68.5E to 61W without problems, I pushed the hardware limits out as far as they would go before installing it.
Motek is basicaly a TMate motor no diffrence really but ceratainly a superb motor ive used a few Motek motors and even Fortecstar all very much similar all preform really well and drive really goodI'm using an Motek 2100A which looks of similar construction and get from 68.5E to 61W without problems, I pushed the hardware limits out as far as they would go before installing it.
Done a test recently Stab motor drove from 28e to 19e
time = 24 secs
drove a TMate2600 motor from 28e to 19e
time = 8 secs
This proves my theory that tmate is infact 3 times faster than StaB motor .
i think both motors are built to withstand quite a lot of abuse and wind and both motors are designed for that so the only negative factor i can say regarding StaB is its very slow speed .
i wud even advise a Fortecstar motor cheap enuff aswell and a good solid all round fast disecq motor .
But in my humble opinion nothing will be better than a good heavy actuator arm but most smaller offset dishes are only designed for Disecq motors ..bit of a shame really .
