hi terryj, yes you got a bargin, there,s loads of free to air channels, but depending on which DIABLO cam you,ve got, have a look on the back of the cam,if its a 2.2 or 2.3 not alot open but the newer version DIABLO2 will open bulsat at 39 degrees east football, discovery, music, films 90 percent english channels.you need a cas 2 or cas 3 to programme the cam and your up and away,by the way whats the reciever called because if its half decent you can put a softcam in it(no need for diablo cam)

its a Digiquest 8000 SCI Satellite Receiver
a clone of DSR5002 (Coship) - STI5518 Flash: 2Mb SDRam: 8 Mb EEProm: 4Kb

haven't brought the cam yet just looking if its worth shelling out around £150 for the privalage

£150 seems quite expensive for a diablo! Make sure that you get also the cas3 to program the cam. Then depending what satellites you receive Diablo open few packages at the moment, just check the Diablo section with the latest files

Diablo Cams have gone past their sell by dates (nothing realistically added to firmware for months) and are no longer a good long term investment.

You may need to take a different approach for the future.

hi terryj, thats to much to pay ;ive just looked on flee bay and you can get a cas 3+ programer for £60,just take a look,if you,ve got the diablo 2.2 or 2.3 you can update it to the latest firmware for £15,the cas 3+ can update most cams on the market aswell as cards
